I do not have a Bucket List. I have no goals in life.Well, that's not entirely true. I have have goals, but they're not interesting. I don't want to be lying on my deathbed, watching the movie reel of my life go by, and think, "Oh YES! I did those dishes that one time I set a goal for it! And look at that, I did go buy that bag I wanted just because I could. Right on!" No. Hell no. I want to look back and say, "I'm so glad I took those chances, saved that puppy from a burning building, adopted all those orphaned children..." You know, stuff like that. So, despite the dangers that were certain to follow, I sat down and thought about what would make my movie reel interesting. Real stuff, that I could actually do. Here's what I came up with, in a completely random order!!
- Reach Stephen King status as an author
- Have a star named after me
- Visit the ruins of Creich Castle in Scotland
- Vow renewal celebration with family and friends (because we eloped)
- Watch the ball drop at Times Square on New Year's Eve
- Learn kickboxing
- Volunteer
- Explore a pyramid in Egypt
- Learn ballroom dancing
- Have a child
- Speak in front of a huge crowd of people
- Have a home in the mountains
- Fly an airplane or helicopter
- Be in two places at the same time
- Adopt a child domestically and internationally
- Learn to speak German and Latin
- Go skydiving
- Be part of a flash mob
- Build something useful with my own two hands
- Go white water rafting
- Take a 4+ hour road trip with my best friends for a girls' getaway
- Visit all 50 states and all US territories
- Have a movie theater in my home
- Spend time in a foreign country helping those less fortunate
- Found a scholarship or grant
- Make a movie
- Have a vacation home in the Caribbean
- Attend La Tomatina
- Have a collection of something unusual
- Host a party in the sky
- Visit Area 51
- See an alien
- Drive my car through a Redwood tree
- Visit all 7 continents
- Drive on the Autobahn
- Go skinny dipping
Okay, that's WAY more than 10. But if I can accomplish at least 10 of those, I can consider my life an accomplishment. <3
